Dian is a credentialed sex therapist and art therapist with 12 years of clinical experience. She provides an inclusive, nurturing space for adults of all genders, orientations and identities in her practice. She is a creative, warm, client-centred and collaborative therapist who nurtures her clients’ strengths. Dian is Indonesian by birth and has spent equal time in Indonesia, the UK and Singapore. She is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Dian graduated with a MSc in Medicine: HIV, STIs and Sexual Health (Counselling) from the University of Sydney, Australia. Her work in sexual health focuses on erectile difficulties, relationship and romantic issues, unconsummated marriages, libido, LGBTIQ issues, STI/HIV support and kink/fetishes. She provided therapy for the men’s sexual wellness clinic at Singapore General Hospital. Dian has now enrolled at the Sex Coach University (SCU).

In Dian’s art therapy work, she specialities in self-esteem, perfectionism, trauma, stress and burnout, anxiety, life transitions, career switching and cultural adjustment issues.  Dian graduated with a MA in Art Therapy from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. She is an approved supervisor with ANZACATA. Her practice draws on multiple therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic and depth (Jungian) psychology, solution-focused therapy, coaching and gestalt techniques, and she is a trauma-informed practitioner.

 

Prior to setting up her private practice Nambani, Dian worked as a Senior Art Therapist at Singapore General Hospital for 11 years, supporting individuals and groups with eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health and medical conditions to cope with their challenges.

 

Dian has a passion for learning, and constantly develops her skills. She has completed certification in Somatic Experiencing® to enhance her work in body-focused and trauma informed therapy.
