The main purpose of supervision sessions is to help future therapists grow and enhance their professional and ethical skills and competencies and foster personal growth. It is a safe space where therapists can explore the transference – countertransference dynamic, personal triggers, debrief, role-play or discuss treatment plans and strategies.
