Breast cancer stories often focus on survival — clear scans, treatment milestones, resilience. But there's a quieter chapter that rarely gets airtime: what happens to a woman's confidence, body image, and intimate relationships once treatment ends. As a sexologist and founder of Nambani, I've worked with survivors who found that even after being declared "well," something had shifted — in how they saw their bodies, their desires, and their connection with partners. It's a side of recovery few are prepared for, and one that's too often left for women to navigate quietly on their own.
